As October begins we are gearing down for a big shift of energies. Your focus over the last year or so has been primarily about marriage and business partnerships. You’ve hosted Jupiter the planet of expansion, abundance, happiness, good luck, and higher levels of education in your seventh house. The seventh house how you get along with others in regards to the business side of marriage, business partnerships, and also your enemies. It might seem odd, but because of the yin-yang aspect to our known enemies and rivals, it falls in this sector. Libra governs this section of your chart for you and Libra loves all things that involve luxury, beauty, love, fairness, justice, splurging, and is especially fond of couples and partnerships. In general, Aries loves to compete in business adventures and prefers a fiery excitement in their marriage too. There is nothing worse than a dull boring marriage or a business partner who doesn’t understand the Ram’s need to climb to new heights. So when you focus on your seventh house of partnerships and rivals it’s not necessarily from a codependent frame of mind. You are simply trying to make sure that you keep the fires burning.

The new moon on October 3^rd is in this same seventh house ruled by Libra. New moons are typically a time for launching new adventures, starting businesses, beginning new projects, and such. This one is also a solar eclipse. I did some reading about eclipses and depending on whom you read, it’s bad news coming or it’s simply changes coming. For me personally, they usually mean that a light is shone on an issue and in so doing the truth of the matter comes to light. Truth often causes us to want to clean up, fix, or alter our current situation. The truth can cause us to see flaws but in so doing we are able to make up our own minds about how we might like to address those flaws. So I would not call this a bad thing. Think of it more as a cosmic cleaning out of the closets. We just don’t need all of those old broken things any more. Some of it can be let go and some of it can be mended and kept. Since you’ve spent the last thirteen months focusing on the concepts of partnerships and rivalry, you should have a pretty good idea as to what you serves your highest good and what is simply holding you back. Take one last look at what you’ve learned about working as part of a duo and what you’ve learned about battling rivals, then do a mental house cleaning of letting go of that which no longer serves you. You know who is a great partner and who is really an enemy pretending to be a partner. The lessons were difficult, but it’s time to evaluate who is friend or foe at this point in time. Another lesson you may have learned is that someone who was once an enemy can become a trusted ally and vice versa. This energy will be fairly strong over the next month, so don’t stress about having to get it all done right this minute. Take your time and allow the light of truth to shine over your partnerships.

This same new moon solar eclipse is working smoothly with Neptune who is still hanging out in the humanitarian sign of Aquarius which rules over your friendships, committees, clubs, and associations sector. You could find that you experience some intuitive knowledge bordering on almost psychic knowing of what needs to happen between your partnerships and the groups that you associate with. You may need to introduce your sweetheart to your friends, or bring a business partner into a committee meeting with you, or you may need to join a club knowing full well that the members are your business rivals but they can teach you a great deal about your industry. The Sun and Neptune will continue working together until the 10^th.

At the same time that the new moon is causing a solar eclipse, Mercury and Jupiter are joining together to become traveling companions until Friday the 7^th. They are both still in this seventh house of Libra and marriages. Together they create excellent intellectual potential; your communications skills and ability to discern fact from fiction should be in peak form at this time. Considering all of the lessons in marriage, partnership, and rivals going on in your life right now, this couldn’t have come at a better time.

You are due to have a bit of a rough weekend leading up to the full moon on Monday the 17^th. Beginning Thursday the 13^th, Mercury and Saturn square off causing you to be hard on yourself regarding your love life. Venus and Uranus square off causing relationship troubles between you and an institution’s theology. However, Mercury and Uranus are work together to bring about bright ideas, imagination, and inventive concepts to help aid you in your attempt to see the true spirituality in the other’s point of view and possibly even turn it into a financially beneficial relationship. It should all blow over before Monday morning.

Monday the 17^th we have a full moon partnered with Jupiter. The Sun will be escorting Jupiter out of Libra and into Scorpio over the next ten days or so. Normally, full moons are a time when things we’ve been working on come to an end. It’s a time of accomplishment, letting go, grand finales, and other types of endings. So this would be a great time to finish up those partnership and marital projects you’ve been working on. Jupiter’s involvement in this full moon makes it extremely lucky and full of good fortune. Optimism and abundance are the keywords here. The moon itself is in your own sign making you the celebrated one. Things should turn out well for you as you wrap up some of these projects. You’ve been forced to learn a lot about yourself over the last few years and you could feel like you are DONE with learning about who you are and why you do the things you do. Saturn and Venus are also working well together at this time but they will only bless financially responsible events, so don’t go off on any crazy schemes. Do your homework and make sure you’ve double and triple checked your financial dealings with respect to your creative talents and foreign client base so that you’ll have the added blessing of Saturn and Venus during this time.

The weekend from Friday the 21^st through Monday the 24^th has Mercury and Mars opposing each other. Mercury rules communications, negotiations, commerce, and business contracts, as well as siblings and neighbors. Mars rules energy, drive, work ethic, and warrior aspects. These two are in your money sectors. All forms of financial dealings, business, personal, investment, partnership deals, and real estate are aggravated. They bring about an increased mental energy, but there’s a good chance for a great deal of tension caused by overworking. On Monday, the Moon sends over a bit of help and smoothes out your powers of concentration so that things are resolved and back to normal from then on.

Late Tuesday the 25^th or early the 26^th, depending on where you live in the world, Jupiter officially changes signs from Libra to Scorpio. The entire week will feel the transitional energies as our focus of joy and happiness changes. As I said earlier, Jupiter brings expansion, good luck, abundance, and joy to all it touches. When things are good, they are really really good. When things go bad, they go really really bad. However, in general Jupiter’s main goal is to have everyone happy and getting along with great prosperity and joy for everyone. In Libra that meant that partnerships, justice, diplomacy, art, music, intellect, diplomacy, and love were blessed. It also meant that when planets opposed or squared off with Jupiter that there was a tendency towards indecisiveness, laziness, and snobbery.

As Jupiter moves into Scorpio the focus will be quite different. Scorpio rules sharing and the concept of “our survival.” Many people don’t understand why Scorpio’s can be so revengeful and dangerous when crossed. They rule over truth as it applies to trust, which is essential when sharing resources, sexuality, personal phoenix rising moments, and such. To break trust in these areas is absolutely unforgivable in their eyes. This is also why they are so good at ferreting out deep dark secrets. Passion is also theirs to watch over because without a passionate connection to another human being, there is no motivation to actually share what you have with them. Taxes, inheritances, bonus checks, royalty checks, spouse’s income, and such are covered in this area because it’s about trusting that the other person will share with us as promised. The natural cycle of life, death, and rebirth are also covered by Scorpio because it looks at the big picture surrounding “our survival” as a species. They are not fascinated by death from a perverse wicked mentality but from a place of wanting to truly understand the deepest aspects of what it means to really live life and what it means to die. The result is that they go through a number of personal rebirths during any given lifetime. So, Jupiter will bless all these areas over the next 13 months or so. You will have the Midas touch in these areas but you will also find that at times when Jupiter is crossed the wrong way, these areas could become quiet hostile and ugly. Trust and truth are very sacred things to Scorpio and you will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of these two things working together in your sexuality and sharing resources sector.

The day after Jupiter moves into Scorpio, the Sun will send it’s warmth and light over to your ruler, Uranus, the planet of humanitarian causes, friendships, groups, committees, clubs, electricity, and the Internet. Originality, magnetism, alertness, and enthusiasm will light up your spiritual life as well as your ability to work profitably with large institutions, government agencies, hospitals, and prisons.
